The Ohio Longhorns 15u team coached by Aaron DeBord won the 2023 Colt 15u Zone Championship by beating the Youngstown All Stars by a score of 4-3.

After Youngstown scored 1 run in the 1st inning, the Longhorns bounced back with three runs in the 2nd inning.  Jake Harrington singled home two runs,  Youngstown bounced back tying the game at 3-3 by scoring two in the top of half of the third inning.

In the bottom of the 5th inning, the Longhorns pushed across one run to take the lead back at 4-3 scoring the winning run on a wild pitch.

Josh Moore pitched a complete game victory for the Ohio Longhorns by striking out 8 and walked 0.  

Youngstown entered the game undefeated and the Longhorns were 3-1 beating Beaver County twice,  and BHM Buckeyes.
