Spiders win Diamond League Championship Game

Spiders Baseball Club cruised to an easy victory over Premier Ohio Stallions Hanlon 16U 9-2 on Tuesday
Spiders got things started in the second inning when Wimbs singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Spiders Baseball Club notched four runs in the third inning when big bats were led by Pattison and Elliott, all driving in runs in the frame.
Kay earned the win for Spiders. Kay allowed one hit and two runs over four innings, striking out three. Dolecek threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Henry Mates took the loss for Premier Ohio Stallions Hanlon 16U. The pitcher allowed seven hits and six runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one.
Spiders Baseball Club scattered nine hits in the game. Elliott and Pattison each racked up multiple hits for the Spiders as Elliott led them with three hits in three at bats.
